We want to make sure that we are the right fit! That’s why as part of our process, we ask questions to get to know more about your project. We want to know what you have in mind for your outdoor space. This includes the key elements, size, timeline, and understanding of your budget.
Once we establish that we could be the right company for you, we come on out to meet you and see the space. You can get to know us a little better as people and as a company. We’ll talk about how you use the space now and how you hope to use the space in the future. At this point, we’ll discuss our design services; what option would be best suited, and the potential investment.
We love the opportunity to create something beautiful. We got our start in deck building, and because we believe you should always remember where you came from, we offer our deck-only potential clients a complimentary first design.
For anything more complex, once you’ve decided to work with us on a project design, a signed agreement and design fee are required. This typically ranges from $500-$3000 depending on complexity. At this point, we'll come with our team to take measurements & pictures and research all by-laws and zoning restrictions. We will then sit down together for a 1-hour design consultation. Our design consultants will take your wish list, and together with their creativity and years of experience will come up with a 2D plan with suggested materials for your space along with an initial quote. We’ll discuss all the elements and any changes you would like to see, make our edits, and produce 3D renderings and a final quote for you to review.
If you decide to work with the Perfect View team to bring your project to life, we go through the design, project specs, and detailed quote together and sign off on all the details. If a permit is necessary, we will have this included in the project price and will handle all drawings and town requirements. A project contract and deposit are required to add your project to our schedule. All materials will be confirmed, and when it comes time to start building, you will work closely with our owner and crew through the whole process.
